Join us for The FVA Annual Conference!

IT’S A WRAP!

The 2023 annual FVA Conference “ Every Moment Makes A Difference” was held Thursday, November 9 at Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio in Independence with 78 attendees participating either in person or virtually.  Packed into this one day event were three dynamic speakers: Rob Toonkel from Arnot Health providing strategic advice on giving effective volunteer recognition; Betsy McFarland with Adisa presenting recent research on support for volunteer engagement, in addition to a workshop on handling difficult conversations with volunteers; then finishing out the day with Christine Hockman, founder of One Degree Shifts, with an energizing challenge to develop a positive mindset for effective leadership.
